Oh WOW, I have the cutest shop to share with you all today! While shopping online one day I came across The Purple Chameleon and was thrilled! You see, I'm a sucker for pretties for my hair and OMG do they have some adorable headbands! I was instantly hooked!!

From the time I was little I loved to strip telephone wire I found in the telephone company's dumpster and twist it into bangles, bracelets and earrings. I would arrange and rearrange for hours the little bits of wood that were left over from my Dad's latest project, making them into a kind of puzzle. (Now, I do that with my groceries at the checkout. What? It takes less bags!!) As I got older I loved putting different clothes and accessories together- my sister tells me- "You know how many times I had to explain to people WHY you were wearing what you were wearing??! You see that tiny red part of her african mask earring? Yes. Well, that's why she's got on those red knee highs." Haha! It's true! I like things that are different. And yeah, sometimes strange! ;)

It is a good feeling to be able to do something you enjoy and help your family at the same time. And as long as my girls don't mutiny on me from being told too many times "Come here- I need your head!" haha! I'll keep going...
