Who Needs a Little Extra Bling in Their Lives?

This week's shop review and giveaway is of one of my favorite "Lens Bling" shops,

Happy Acres is owned by Jessi, a Navy wife and mother of 4 wonderful children.  She lives on a small farm in Gloucester, VA. and runs her business from her home so that she can be there for her family.  She has been knitting, crocheting, making jewelry, and other crafts since she was little.   She says "sometimes I think I just can't sit still.   Friends are always telling me I should sell the things I make but until now I have always just given everything away as gifts.  A dear friend of mine has been suggesting for a long time that I start selling on ETSY so now I guess I will give it a try and see where it takes me."

Happy Acres Farm specializes in camera bling...you know, the adorable little animal faces that you've seen on camera's to capture the attention of little babies and bring that special smile to their faces :)  These are so adorable, just take a look at some of her creations:

Stinkin' adorable right?  I've got three (including the new cupcake that plays music!) and LOVE them, they really work great!  And guess what?  Jessi would like to give one of my readers a FREE lens bling of their choice!  How cool is that?  Here are the details on how to enter, good luck!

A Word About Our Sponsors :)

It's that special time of month where we like to give a big shout out to our wonderful sponsors!  We appreciate them SO much and just know that you will love them as much as we do!

First up is Shear Perfection Photography.  Shear Perfection is owned and operated by Sam Dods.  Here's more about Sam and her awesome business:

Hi and welcome!  My name is Sam.  I am extremely lucky to be doing the two things i love the most working with people and photography... I have always been around children with my work, from being a nanny to a teachers aid and have always loved taking pictures so decided to combine them...
We all know that children grow up to fast before you know it they have gone from the cot to moving out, so my aim is to capture the moments in time that will last a life time, the essence of your family, the bond between mother and child and the curiosity of the siblings, some thing you can look back on for years to come......
I proudly spend alot of time with my clients and feel honored that I'm invited into their lives and those who are close to them..

Next up is Gabanni Photography, a family owned and operated business specializing in wedding photography and portraits. They know through experience that no two events are alike and capture your wedding in a way that will reflect your unique personality. They understand how important your special day is to you, your partner, friends, family and everyone else involved and we would love to help you remember it forever.

New on the scene is a cute little knit shop called OLuvinit.  Olivia is the owner and creator behind OLuvinit and is retired and loving it… she is enjoying traveling with her husband Bob, as well as many other hobbies she never found time to do when she was working full time!  Here's more about Olivia:

My mother sewed when I was a child and her love for needle work and sewing must have been passed along to me. I, too, love to create! I was a stay at home mom until my youngest child entered 1st grade, so I made most of my daughters' clothes and I learned English smocking and French hand sewing (which I also taught in my home). Now, many years later, knitting newborn props has become a new passion for me. Every time I pick up the needles, I never know what I am going to make, as I never follow a pattern exactly and sometimes not at all, but I enjoy watching each item emerge from the needles! With just a little change here and there and using different mixtures of yarn and material- each item becomes very unique and special.

Let's show our sponsors some love by visiting their pages and saying "hi", don't forget to let them know you saw them on the Beautiful Photo Props blog! Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

CLOSED: Forever Framed Gifts

 We have a winner!

Congratulations to entry #6, Mandi Wiebe!  And thanks to all who participated, you're going to LOVE your custom tiles!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh WOW, I have the MOST AWESOME shop to share with you all today!  I recently had the absolute pleasure to review custom made coasters and wood blocks from Claycomb Photography & Forever Framed that were made just for me using photos of my family that I had sent in.

Aren't they amazing?!  The quality and craftsmanship is OUTSTANDING!  And Trina was so accommodating, she put hangers on the backs of the wooden blocks for me and they are now hanging as a beautiful collage on my wall!  What a gal!  Wanna know more about Trina Claycomb, the owner and designer behind Forever Framed?  Well here you go:

Claycomb Photography & Forever Framed is owned and oh so creatively operated by Trina Claycomb:

"Hello!  My name is Trina.
About me?  Really? It’s hard for me to talk about myself but it is really important to know who your photographer is, so as difficult as it may be… for some of us, it is a must!  ^_~
I am a very passionate person, that much I know.  I never do things “half way” or “kind of”.  I love people, I love animals and I am in LOVE with photographs and everything that goes with it.  I love creating memories, documenting life and creating images that people fall in love with.  My home is full of photographs and I update them a couple times a year.
I also have a gift shop and I create Custom Photo & Inspirational Coasters, Blocks and wooden boxes.
It’s pretty safe to say I am in love with being in love! What I love most of all on this earth is my family.  I am incandescently in love with my wonderful husband of 10 years and we have two beautiful boys that are the center of our world.  I also love my job.  It has been said that when you love your job you never work a day in your life.  That couldn’t be truer for me.  I love what I do... I adore the people I meet and creating that “pause in time” with the photographs I design with my clients.  I have a passion for weddings and have been known to shed a tear or two behind my lens at almost every one of them… What can I say I am a hopeless romantic!
I enjoy spending time with my sisters, brothers and parents, soy peppermint white mochas, my black & white Havanese puppy named Hurley, the laughter of children, fall colored trees that seem to go for miles, the movie “Pride & Prejudice”, stay-at-home mom and dad businesses, Etsy.com, San Diego, converse shoes, wonderful friends that love to eat, play games and talk for hours, Carmel California and I love coffee! ^_^
I strive to be a Loving wife, an Understanding mother, a Good friend and give More than I Get in life.
“There is More Happiness in Giving than there is in Receiving”

How awesome is she?  And it really shows in her creativity!  Take a look at some of the other goodies she makes 'cause she's so generously giving away a custom made set of coasters to one of our lucky fans!

Product Review and Giveaway: Zin Frames

I recently had the pleasure of reviewing a beautiful Zin Frame and just have to share with you all because they are AMAZING!  I got the "Amelie" in Apple Green and it is absolutely stunning!

Zin Frames was founded by Rosanne & Jan Korteland and although they are European, they say they feel pretty Canadian after having lived in BC since 2008. They run a successful photography studio on Vancouver Island and are always on the look out for unique products to offer their clients...Zin Frames was the result!

Their designer frames are custom made and they are available on their website and wholesale to photographers and other boutique business owners.  You can also find them on their Facebook page.  Zin is a Dutch word and stands for “meaning”. They believe their frames will make the photographs that are displayed in them even more meaningful than they already are....and I completely agree!  Why put a stunning photograph into a boring frame when you can make it an eye-catcher with a Zin frame?!

Now for the fun part:  Rosanne & Jan are graciously giving away an 8x10 frame OF THE WINNERS CHOICE....how awesome is that?  The winner gets to choose the style, the color....so many possibilities!  Are you excited because I sure am!  Let's get the party started!

Congratulations to 806 Photography!  And thank you to all who participated!!!
