Welcome To Our New Blog :)

Hi and welcome, I'm so excited to be sharing my new photography blog with you!  My name is Kimberly and I am a professional photographer prop designer and budding photographer :)   I have been living my dream of running my own business for 12 years now but 3 years ago decided to branch off from what I had been doing and started my own fashion accessories business.  After 2 years of designing and creating various items such as fashion scarves, cowls, hats, fingerless gloves, etc. I felt that I was no longer fulfilled in what I was doing, that my creativity had become stagnant.  At that point I decided that I needed to either change what I was creating or give up running my own business and go back to the workforce.  I even tried it for a few months but felt terrible, like I had failed myself.  So I changed gears and delved into a different area of design and creativity and am the happiest I have ever been.  I once again LOVE what I do....you see, I now create little treasures that are captured in THE most important way....I make things that brand new little babies wear in their very first photos :)  This makes me so incredibly happy and fulfilled...to know that something my hands and heart create will become a part of a family's history is the best feeling in the world...not to mention that I absolutely ADORE squishy little babies and love that I get to create for them :)  I also love to take pictures and hope that someday I not only design a baby's first photo "outfit", but that I also get to take their first photos!  That's a long time away though, first I have to get good at photographing nature and people lol!

Sooooo.... without further adieu, here is a peek into what I do :)  I hope you enjoy and will come back for more as I post more and more photos and features on my favorite photographers, techniques, how-to's, etc.
